Rolling back to a previous version of SSL 360°

From time to time, you might need to roll back to an earlier version of SSL 360°.

Here is the best way to do this:

  • Open the SSL Download Manager Application
  • Go to the SSL 360° tab
  • Uninstall SSL 360° and all SSL 360°-enabled plug-ins
    • Using the 'Uninstall All' button in the top-right area is the most efficient way.

Now that you have uninstalled all the software, go to the SSL 360° Downloads and Release Notes FAQ article

  • Scroll down to the SSL 360° Release you want to roll back to.
  • Download and install that version of SSL 360° and all of the 360°-enabled plug-ins (they will all be in a table together).
    • It is essential that you download and install all the 360°-enabled plug-ins associated with the particular 360 release you are rolling back to.

  • Open up the SSL 360° application and go to the HOME page and 'update' the Firmware of your SSL devices (you are essentially reverting to the firmware that was tested and supported with that release).

Ignore the message that says 'Software update available... Download 360° Update, as this will take you back up to the latest version.
