On Mac, SSL 18 is class compliant, meaning that you do not need to install additional drivers.
On Windows, please install the SSL ASIO/WDM USB audio driver.
You should also install SSL 360° software to access the SSL 18 Mixer on Mac and Windows systems, where you can configure many aspects of SSL 18's audio routing and settings.
