My Channel Strip 2 and Bus Compressor 2 plug-ins aren’t working in the Plug-in Mixer?
This might be because you are running incompatible versions e.g. Channel Strip 2 (v1.0.55) may not work correctly in SSL 360° v1.4.
Make sure you have updated all your software to the following versions:
4K B |

Channel Strip and Bus Compressor Licenses
If you had the SSL Native Essentials pack that included the original Channel Strip and Bus Compressor licenses then you may have noticed that these are labelled SSL Native Channel strip 2 and Bus Compressor 2 within iLok.
Your licenses are not lost, they are rebranded to current production software:
They will continue to work with the original Channel Strip and Bus Compressor.
The original licenses also enable the V2 versions; to use V2, simply download and install the V2 version.
If you do not see version 2 in your iLok, it is most likely because you need to update your iLok License Manager.
In conjunction with the SSL UC1 hardware controller, SSL Native Channel Strip 2 and SSL Native Bus Compressor 2 plug-ins are available as a free upgrade to all existing license holders of the v6.5 Channel Strip and Bus Compressor plugins. SSL Native Channel Strip 2 v1.0 and SSL Native Bus Compressor 2 v1.0 can be installed alongside the SSL Native v6.5 plug-ins.

Channel Strip 2 SOLO Button Isn't Working
The SOLO button on Channel Strip 2 works by cutting the output of all other Channel Strip 2 plug-ins in the DAW session. It doesn't directly control your DAW's solos.
The best way to use the SOLO feature is to place an instance of Channel Strip 2 onto all the tracks in your DAW session, ensuring to use the SOLO SAFE button is engaged on Channel Strip 2 plug-ins that are inserted on Auxes/Busses/Sub Groups. This will then enable you to use SOLO as intended.
