To experience the best possible DAW integration between your SSL controllers and Pro Tools, please ensure you are running the most up-to-date version of Pro Tools you can, that is is compatible with your operating system.
We have successfully tested our latest Pro Tools integration features with:
- 2026. Pro Tools releases
- 2025. Pro Tools releases
Pro Tools 2024 releases may not work with our latest DAW integration features.
Anything before Pro Tools 2024 will not work with our latest DAW integration features.

For UC1/the 360° Plug-in Mixer to access Pro Tools track colours, track ordering and synchronised track selection, SSL 360° must connect to Pro Tools’ PTSL service.
Sometimes, when loading a Pro Tools session, SSL 360° and PTSL may fail to connect. This can happen for different reasons, such as timeouts from unresolved dialogue boxes for missing audio files or plug-ins etc when loading a session.
If the enhancements provided by PTSL are not working, and you are using SSL 360 v2.0.6 or above and Pro Tools 2024.6 and above, there is an easy way to Restart SSL 360’s connection to the PTSL service.
With a Pro Tools session loaded and SSL 360° running, go to the Plug-in Mixer page in SSL 360° and click on the ‘Restart PTSL’ button in the left-hand menu.
