Description
We have identified an error within Download Manager for Microsoft Windows that can occasionally prevent plugins downloading and installing correctly.
A fix will be included in a future update, in the meantime, the workaround below resolves the issue.
Workaround
1. Open a Windows explorer, right click the This PC icon, then choose Properties.
2. Select the Advanced system settings tab (this will prompt you to enter the Admin user name and password).
3. Click Environment Variables.
4. Under the System variables panel, choose Path then click Edit.
5. Add C:\Windows\System32.
6. Click OK.
7. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect. Should the issue persist, please complete the additional steps below.
Additional steps
1. Follow the same process as before to access the Environment Variables table.
2. Add C:\windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\ as a new entry to the Path User variable.
3. Add C:\windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\ as a new entry to the Path System variable.
4. Select OK
4. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
