Does UF1 follow the selected track in the DAW?

This functionality depends on the DAW and whether UF1 is controlling a DAW Layer or the Plug-in Mixer Layer:

DAW Layers

UF1 controlling Pro Tools via HUI - you can make UF1 follow the selected track by using the ‘Scroll into view’ shortcut, when selecting a track in Pro Tools. On Mac the shortcut is Shift +Ctrl + click on the track name area.

UF1 controlling Logic Pro via MCU – Ensuring you have the Logic Pro preference ‘control surface follows track selection’  enabled (found in Logic’s general control surface preferences) will make sure that that the ‘window’ of 8 faders UF1 is looking at follows you selecting a track in Logic, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that the specific track you selected will appear on the UF1 fader and you may have to use the CHANNEL encoder to find that exact channel manually. We are looking at ways of improving this feature in SSL 360 v1.6.

UF1 controlling LUNA via MCU – Ensuring you have the LUNA controller preference ‘Bank to selected track’ enabled should result in making sure that that the ‘window’ of 8 faders UF1 is looking at follows you selecting a track in LUNA, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that the specific track you selected will appear on the UF1 fader and you may have to use the CHANNEL encoder to find that exact channel manually. We are looking at ways of improving this feature in SSL 360 v1.6.

UF1 controlling Cubase/Nuendo/Live/Studio One/Pyramix via MCU – The MCU implementation in these DAWs means that it is not possible to follow the selected track in the DAW. However, we are looking at ways of improving this functionality in SSL 360° v1.6.

UF1 controlling the 360° Plug-in Mixer Layer

Cubase, Nuendo, Live, Studio One, REAPER (using VST3s) - When UF1 has been configured to control the Plug-in Mixer, it will follow the DAW track selection for all tracks in the DAW where you have inserted 360°-enabled channel strips (4K B, Channel Strip 2).
